Ginnetti just got hurt for Cedar Rapid, don't know how bad but man has that kid had some tough luck.

The only thing I can think of is there's a lot of academic scholarship money going to some of these new guys. Interesting times because if everyone stayed we were most definitely set up to make a run next season, if I were to guess Kielly and Sturm are leaving early, and then maybe Egle if he continues to show flashes of what he could do last night.

Gosselin recently stated in an interview he is slated to come in next season along with a few other things about his commitment to Clarkson. The interview is here - https://soundcloud.com/bchl-centenni...in-to-clarkson

Campbell, Gosselin, Silye all made Canada West - https://hockeycanada.ca/en-ca/nation...ters?teamid=36

McFaul made Canada East while Manikis did not - https://hockeycanada.ca/en-ca/nation...ers?teamid=645

Anthony Romano has been named to the 2019 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game - https://www.ushl.com/news_article/show/973990

A lot of NHL scouts are in attendance for both of these events, Campbell actually has the benefit of his complete junior line and his complete junior PP unit all made the team which is crazy to think but it's obviously going to help chemistry wise.

Campbell and Gosselin were the only players to score in a 5-2 loss to Russia in the Pre-Tournament game - https://hockeycanada.ca/en-ca/nation...ry?gameid=2305

The NHL CSB named McFaul as one of the players to watch at the WJAC. https://hockeycanada.ca/en-ca/news/2...ayers-to-watch
        DUSTYN MCFAUL
good quickness and mobility uses skating strengths to elude pressure or join the rush composed under pressure heads-up awareness sees the ice well makes good first passes
I add that you can watch these games for free within the box scores. Monday's Canada East game is still available https://www.hockeycanada.ca/en-ca/na...ry?gameid=2308.

Canada East didn't make the semis and didn't win a game the whole tournament, McFaul looked like he was struggling with adjusting to the pace of the game but his team wasn't helping out in the slightest, he's still extremely young and hopefully this experience will benefit him for next year, he had 0 points and 4 PIM at the tournament.

Canada West lost to the USA team in OT in the semi-final then followed it up the next day beating the Czechs 3-1 for the bronze. All three of Campbell, Gosselin, Silye look like they will be competing for spots next season and can fill a bit of the void depth wise.

Campbell had his best games of the tournament after he was taken off his Victoria line, he scored the goal that sent the USA game to OT (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ey2EwOiM0JE at about 30 seconds) and was a treat to watch with how he thinks in the offensive end, he was very composed and wasn't afraid to get creative, Campbell finished the tournament with 1 goal and 1 assist in the 6 games and I'd like to think impressed a lot of NHL scouts in attendance that now know it's not Newhook making him that good, they're both just really special.

Gosselin was very impressive in his showings, having not seen him play much I thought he was a strictly offensive weapon but he's feisty for his size and seemed to play a lot better when he moved from wing to center, special hands that help him make plays in tight areas that might not be on Rempals level but weren't too far off from when watching him with Nanaimo, he finished with a goal and 2 assists for the tournament.

Silye centered two of the more productive Canada West forwards in Blaisdell and Leyh and he complemented them and their blazing speed well, he's a reliable center that is a good skater and very good positionally, he seemed to adapt to his role seamlessly at the tournament. He threw his body around at times too to create some spark when West wasn't looking very good and just inn general was playing with a lot of passion, Silye finished with two assists.

I wasn't going to post this here because I don't know who all of the Clarkson recruits are, but the two rosters for the CJHL (Canadian Tier II) Prospects game to be held on 1/22 was posted on Tuesday. https://www.cjhlhockey.com/en/cjhl-a...s-game-rosters

It includes Manikis (East) and Campbell (West). As stated, the NHL CSB helped choose the rosters.

His USHL bio still says uncommitted and there's nothing from Chris Heisenberg.

                      • So if you google search his name it does show that but then if you click on his profile there was a friend of his that he retweeted who is committed to Denver but his profile is still empty with just Ao1 in it. It is weird that twitter decides to display that info when you search his name and I definitely understand the confusion. I wouldn't be surprised to see him commit to a school like that though, he's had a great year for one of the best USHL teams, it was a tough loss with the current state of our defensive group.

There is no evidence on his Twitter that he's committed to Denver and none of the recruiting outlets are reporting it. All have him listed as Clarkson.

Heisenberg has him listed as decommitted to Clarkson. He isn't coming here, so best of luck to him.
