And my wife and I already have our hotel for the weekend. Planning on seeing both the mens and womens games on Fri-Sat afternoon and knight .

I guess we could call that the "Gopher-Killer" series. Bemidji State has given Minnesota a surprising amount of trouble over the past few years, and Clarkson is probably the only team to claim a mental edge over Minnesota.

It appears Brielle Bellerive is transferring to the University of British Columbia. I can understand why, with all the underclassmen taking the top roles last year and moving back home for her, but I am disappointed to see anyone go. I can still remember her ripping off a shot for the only goal against Harvard in 2014Ė15 to give Clarkson the regular season title.

Sorry to see her go but I can understand her wanting to play in front of her family plus probably her not getting as much ice time as she would have liked last year. Good luck to her. She leaves an NC$$ Champion, not too bad. I wonder if this frees up any scholarship money and if so would they bring in anyone a year earlier? That still leaves 13 forwards and 7 dmen for next year with the 6 frosh coming in (Plus 1 goalie).

Good luck in getting a room. We are in Messena at the Econo Lodge (UGH). Everything in Potsdam and Canton is full..

Yup, there's nothing closer than Massena. The Hampton Inn doesn't even have any Hilton Rewards member rooms stashed away. I'm going up anyway, even if I have to stay on a friend's couch in Massena or at the old fraternity house.

Now... tickets for the games. That should be interesting.

I have sent an email to the school asking when tickets will be available. Have not heard yet.

Well, if it's anything like last time, the women's banner-raising game will be free admission and you will be able to walk right in. As for the other three games, I can't help you there.

According to the email I received, single game ticket usually go on sale in early Sept.

Fast and Ambrose have made the Canadian centralization roster for the 2018 Olympics. Erica Howe has been named an alternate goaltender. Of note, as the article points out, is that Rattray is not on the list.
