As I've mentioned before anything could happen with bringing in players early but I'd project Agostino, Bruich, and Giguere will be in this class.

Daniel Agostino (Laval, QMAAA) - Another smaller extremely skilled forward that we've managed to secure a commitment from, he's a 3rd round QMJHL draft pick of Drummondville so he will have a decision to make. 3 goals and 5 assists through 9 games early on in his season.

Aden Bruich (Maryland, NAHL) - Big power forward who has gotten off to a slow start with Maryland, not dressed every game but has tallied 1 assist in 6 games so far. Promising player though and this is a common struggle for 17 year olds face in their first full junior hockey season.

Alexis Giguere (Andre-Laurendeau Boomerang, QCHL) - Same place that produced Sam Vigneault, Giguere is another one of the skilled smaller players that we have been recruiting as of late. He has 4 goals and 4 assists in 9 games so far.

Carter Rose a defenseman from Brasher Falls committed today, plays at Holderness, good to see a promising local prospect, two years of junior and then he hits campus seems about right.

Listed as a junior so if he is going to graduate in '21; then that would mean 1 year of junors. Unless he graduates early?

The ideal development path for everyone is different, he could choose to finish his schooling at a high school in the USHL I believe, don’t know the BCHLs plan but if Carter and his advisors feel he’s outgrown prep hockey and it’s time for a new challenge there are academic options in junior leagues.

Carter Rose will be playing next season in Nanaimo, Clarkson seems to have a great relationship with Nanaimo and Penticton especially, not bad organizations to have ties with.

Anyone following the Nanaimo Clippers for the 2019-2020 season realizes they probably had one of the best defence corps in the league … Continue reading Clippers commit defenseman Carter Rose →
