      • Clarkson owned the first 19 minutes then got loosey goosey. Egle's PPG was a monster slapshot from top of the circle

          • Princeton was more physical in the 2nd and we struggled. Team misses brosseau. Gave up a goal on a rebound after a huge save by marotte. We're controlling period 3 with 4 grade As but haven't hit the net yet.

                • Clarkson wins 2-1 over Princeton. Close game, both teams had chances. Low scoring again for clarkson...

                  • Just feel this is a note of value, best game through the neutral zone I've seen from Campoli since he stepped on campus, he still struggles with the end product but if he can slow down the game a bit it'd be nice to see a little production. Gosselin is going to be a 80-100 point guy IMO, as he settles into college hockey he's going to be very productive. Dunne better not even be thinking of leaving, plenty of his game to develop, mostly offensively and taking advantage of his great two way play. The team continues to struggle 5x5 which is very frustrating with the level of the opposition tonight, last weekend and even earlier on in the season. Princeton was fine with letting us go wherever we pleased in the first and we just couldn't build off of that to extend the lead and kill off their belief. Telling game tomorrow, have plenty of doubts with both teams. We are going to need more production from Callin, Campoli, Jacome going forward, add Gosselin and Romano who seem to be settling in and are getting very important minutes. Without Brosseau, we especially need Dunne (7 on the year is good but goalless in 8 straight and only has 2 5x5 goals) and Jacome (only 2 goals on the year and goalless in 11 games) to really step up and produce some goals.

                    • Calling all current and former pep band members.....Please show up toknight!! Huge game, no energy in building so far in 2020. Not acceptable that we don't have a pep band the last 3 games.

Tell that to the University, I don't think classes start again until next week.

Academic calendars indicate dorms don't open until next Wednesday, so not going to be very many current students.

As for former members, I'd go, but it takes a long time to get from Seattle to Potsdam. All things considered, it might be faster to get to Potsdam, Germany.

                            Spot on analysis.

Glad you pointed out Gosselin and Romano, been noticing both since the last SLU game.
Princeton left plenty of space out there last night, no production from it. Considering what Princeton gave up in space, I expected constant cycling pressure or puck possession into the zone...
First game Campoli has been noticeable as well.. hoping he builds on as Dunne hasn't shown much in the offensive zone.

                            • Dunne hasn't responded well to being the true top line center this year. Last year Sturm line took a lot of attention and Dunne was matched up against 2nd checking lines more often. Now he gets double teamed a lot especially when he tries to be a slot presence and is being forced to play against the walls and below the goal line a lot more. He's not getting the dirty rebound goals that he got last year.
