Clarkson was the only ECAC team to win a game. Hope Lonergan and McGill are available next weekend against Minnesota Duluth. They are gonna be needed big time.
Quinnipiac had a win as well.

An exhibition game. Not one that counts in the Pairwise.

I don't think the news on the injury front is good at all. Hearing Lonergan's injury is a broken collar bone. McGill's injury is a shoulder. Not sure if dislocation or separation.

It is not a broken collar bone but will be weeks not days for both.

I guess that is "good" news on Lonergan ... at least better than a broken collar bone. Hopefully both will be back by the Colgate/Cornell weekend in Nov!

When I was 10 years old I had a "green tree" fracture of my shoulder. The bone was not broken but bent and that took six weeks in a sling to heal.

It's a green stick fracture ... unless you have some huge shoulders.

I wouldn't be too worried about losing a game to Rooney. She's at least in the conversation of the best goaltender in the world right now. I imagine she'll steal a game or two from Wisco and Minny this year. The more interesting result was another good effort from Syracuse this past weekend, making our Friday night struggles a little less worrisome. My concern this year is that Wisco and Minny are again head and shoulders above everyone else, whereas in the last 6 or 7 years, there were a couple programs right on their heels.

The Penn State crowd over on USCHO report that Jenna Brennerman blew out her ACL and is done for the season.

Surgery after the swelling goes down and then a long rehab.
