Period 1 is underway from Hamden, CT. Dan Tuttle is called for a penalty, and the Golden Knights kill that penalty.

BRYAN RUFENACH SCORES CLARKSON'S FIRST GOAL WITH THE ASSIST GIVEN TO SCOTT FREEMAN WHO MADE A NICE SOFT PASS TO BRYAN.

Clarkson's first goal was scored at 6:25 of Period 1.

      Way to go, Clarkson

Oh dear, Matt Beca is called for a hit from behind penalty

Quinnipiac goes on its second power play.

          Be tough, Clarkson Golden Knights.

Paul Karpowich made a great save on a Q shot.

Could this correct...Q holds a 10 ~ 1 shot advantage.....well at least we are shooting at a rate of 100%

A Q shot hit off the goal post and did not go in.

Power play is over for the Q...whew.

Scott Freeman and Brandon DeFazio passed the puck and a good shot was made on the Q net.

Now, there is a Q penalty called for roughing.

Matt Beca took a shot, but...

Phil Paquet took a shot, and it was covered by the Q goaltender.

It is nice to have Tyrell Mason back in the lineup...as I believe he was last knight too.

              Shots...Q...12....CLARKSON...4

Power play for CU is over.

Clarkson's shots are not top quality shots, but one never knows what can happen if a shot is taken directly on the goal.

Nick Tremblay stole the puck and took a shot on goal. Unfortunately, Mike Willemson was called for a penalty.

Matt Beca clears the puck down the ice.

Period 1 is over and Clarkson leads 1 ~ 0

Knights going on the penalty kill.

14 seconds later the Bobcats take a penalty of their own.

                      4x4 for awhile.

Oh no, I guess I won't travel again during the game broadcast. I am simply horrified that Q was able to score three goals during the second period.....how awful for the Golden Knights. I hope we aren't reverting back to where we were earlier in the season.

Thanks, Brett, even though the news is bad, I still like to know how the team is doing.

                              Period 3 is underway.
