Scott Freeman shoots high and wide of the net....Dan Reed takes a shot.

Jon Marshall is called a penalty and a Q player is also given a penalty.

Ty Mason starts out with Bryan Rufenach.

The Q steals the puck and shoots at goal....but nothing happened this time.

Very sloppy play by both teams and the four on four ends.

Scott Freeman shoots and so does Mark Borowiecki, and the score is still 3 ~ 1 in favor of the Q.

Clarkson's Lauri Tuohimma is called for elbowing...it is Clarkson's seventh penalty...and guess who is there calling them....Alex Dell.

Paul Karpowich makes a save on a backhanded shot by a Q player.

Paul Karpowich was slashed, and then he butt ended the Q player. And the Q, only the Q, receives a penalty....this must be Clarkson's first break in a long time.

Clarkson has some good opportunities, but they were unable to score.

Interference is called on Chris D'Alvise, and George is incensed on the bench.

Clarkson just lost a power play advanatge.

Paul Karpowich made a brilliant save on a breakaway, but then Ty Mason was called for a penalty.

Clarkson is in terrible trouble now, and they will soon be on the bad end of a 5 on 3 advantage.

A Q player shot, the puck hit the skate of Mark Borowiecki and went into the Clarkson net.

        The score is now Q...4...Clarkson...1

It doesn't seem that the Golden Knights will progress fast enough to win this game. The Q is still on a power play, which just ended.

There are less than nine minutes left in this game, and I think Bob announced earlier that Clarkson has fallen into ninth place in the ECAC with a Union victory earlier today.

Bob also mentioned that Adam Bellows has a concussion, and Julien Cayer did not make the trip.

Does anyone know when Adam was hurt and what is wrong with Julien?

Clarkson goes on the power play and George pulled Paul Karpowich from the nets.

SHEA GUTHRIE SCORES ON A RISING SHOT FROM THE POINT, WITH THE ASSIST GIVEN TO CHRIS D'ALVISE.

              THE Q....4......CLARKSON...3

Oh my goodness, the Q nearly scored....but they didn't.

                  4:25 left in Period 3.

Thanks, tomthewombat, for that information. I didn't realize that Adam had been hurt. Let's hope his concussion is short lived.

Harvard is leading Cornell 3 ~ 1 in the third period.

2:24 remaining in the third period, with the Golden Knights behind by one darn goal.

Oh no, 1:52 remaining and Mark Borowiecki is called for boarding.

                        This is Clarkson's tenth penalty.

Scott Freeman took a shot off the top of the crossbar.

The Q missed an empty net, but soonafter they scored into it.

The score is Q....5.....Clarkson 3.....final score

Clarkson's 16th loss of the season just took place....what a bummer.
