Alabama-Huntsville canceled their ice hockey program, reguarding Covid-19. About time they finally ended there men's hockey program, they were terrible.
NCAA back down to 60 teams. (including LIU)

I was thinking, because the schedule was supposed to fully release last week. I wonder with the whole pandemic going on, if Alaska Anchorage backed out on coming to Potsdam. Almost every U.S airline has canceled all flights, and it could be like that for a while. UAA would have to fly to here anyway. The series is also on parents weekend, so even if they did back out, somebody else would be coming to Cheel. My guesses for other teams would be either Minnesota State or LIU.

To add on to my last post, according to AHCA, Clarkson is looking for 2 games NC. I am not positive if Alaska Anchorage really backed out on Clarkson.

Just wondering why you say UAA is backing out? Because the May 15th Tweet on the schedule states https://twitter.com/ClarksonMHockey/...01930212626432 So what am I missing? Also, if you go through the twitter page it appears the schedule is out.

They released the home dates, but we are still waiting to see if they play Holy Cross or Vermont on the road with Providence.

Is there a missing game at SLU for this year, or has there been any word of the game being pushed to the 2021-22 schedule? I thought SLU was owed a second game due to the "switch" of the 2 year home and away being both at CU this last year

Not sure about the long term stability, since this is like the second time in 10 years it has almost shut down...

I guess they really wanted their program back, but here's the problem.
Half of their entire roster has already tranfered to other schools, and UAH is the worst recruiting hockey school in D1.
Anyways, the program has always been terrible. Do they think they will become better? I doubt it.

Also, no, SLU did not move the games to 2021-2022. That season they will only be playing a home-and-home.

I also have no idea who is on the schedule for 2021-2022. Most likely not at Alaska Anchorage, because of D1 hockey in Alaska dieing away.

Well, there's the home-and-home league weekend (Jan 29-30) and a single home (for SLU) game Dec 11, which is why I was confused. Either they have a game they are negotiating to play to make up for the game Clarkson hosted for SLU last year, or Clarkson gets lucky and doesn't have to return the favor.

EDIT: Of course, right after posting this, I find the answer (it is a 2021-22 game): https://www.collegehockeynews.com/ne...Officially.php

Cap wrote a very good but sad story in todays WDT. I personally feel, there is more out there in the hockey world that have similar stories. Its tough on these kids, leaving home being on own etc. Glad his life is going in the RIGHT direction.
